Saturday Highlights: BSU & LSSU sweep, BGSU beats Miami and St. Thomas earns first win

Number-19 nationally ranked Bemidji State posted a road-sweep at Northern Michigan, Lake Superior State swept Union College on home-ice, Bowling Green beat Miami and St. Thomas earned their first NCAA Division I win with a Saturday night victory over Ferris State.

Bemidji State's Andre Ghantous recorded two points (1G, 1A) and Northern Michigan's Alex Ierullo scored twice.

LSSU's Josh Nixon had a four-point night (1G, 3A), Timo Bakos recorded a hat-trick and Miroslav Mucha totaled 3 assists.

Four different BGSU players recorded two points (1G, 1A): Nathan Burke, Coale Norris, Taylor Schneider and Austen Swankler.

St Thomas' Travor Zins and Matthew Jennings each recorded a goal and two assists, Christiano Versich tallied three assists and Luke Manning notched two goals.
