Sunday Highlights: FSU tops Miami in overtime

Miami 3 at Ferris State 4 – OT
Down 2-1 heading into the third period, Ferris State used two third period goals to earn a 3-2 lead with 1:34 remaining. Miami tied the contest with one minute left on the clock to force overtime. Ferris State's Stepan Pokorny scored shorthanded in overtime at 1:48 of the extra frame to earn the weekend split with the Miami RedHawks after receiving scoring from five different players.

#5 Minnesota State 6 at #1 Massachusetts 3
After shutting out the defending NCAA Division I National Champions 2-0 Saturday night, Minnesota State used six unanswered goals and scored two goals in 15 seconds to earn the weekend sweep over UMass.

Lake Superior State 0 at #17 Omaha 3
Lake Superior State posted a come-from-behind victory Saturday to earn an overtime triumph over the 17th-ranked Omaha Mavericks. Sunday was too much for the Lakers though as Omaha scored once in the second and twice in the third en-route to a 3-0 win to split with LSSU.

#2 St. Cloud State 2 at St. Thomas 0
The University of St. Thomas played their first ever NCAA Division I men’s ice hockey home game at the Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul, Minn., home of the NHL's Minnesota Wild. After scoring twice on Saturday, the Tommies were unable to get on the board Sunday, falling 2-0 to the St. Cloud State Huskies.
