After upsetting the No. 2 ranked Minnesota State Mavericks on home ice this past Friday night, Ferris State will travel to East Lansing for a Thursday night tilt against Michigan State. It's the first of two games between the two teams on the week as the Spartans will travel to Big Rapids Saturday. Michigan state was swept in a home-and-home series last weekend by Michigan. 

In the last home-and-home series between FSU and MSU, Michigan State won the first game 5-3 in East Lansing on Nov. 2, 2018 before Ferris State won the following night 4-1 in Big Rapids on Nov. 3. The Bulldogs are led by Liam MacDougall who has nine points (3G, 6A) in nine games. Logan Stein has a 3.48 GAA and a .887 SAV% and is the current CCHA Goaltender of the Week. Michigan State is led by Josh Nodler who has eight points (3G, 5A) in 10 games played and Mitchell Lewandowski who has seven points (3G, 4A) in five games. The Spartans top goalie is Drew DeRidder who has a 2.30 GAA and a .935 SAV%.
