Friday: MTU & NMU earn road wins

In the first weekend where all eight CCHA teams are in conference play, both Michigan Tech and Northern Michigan earned road wins and Bowling Green secured a home-ice victory. Michigan Tech won 4-3 at No. 20 Bemidji State, Northern Michigan came-from-behind to win 6-3 at Ferris State and Bowling Green won 5-1 over Lake Superior State. 

For Bowling Green, Coale Norris recorded a four-point night (2G, 2A) and Ethan Scardina tallied three points (1G, 2A). Michael Colella earned three points (2G, 1A) and Andrew Ghantous tallied three points (1G, 2A) for Northern Michigan. Tristan Ashbrook posted two goals and an assist to lead Michigan Tech.
