Wednesday: BSU wins over ASU, UST falls

There were two games on the CCHA docket on Thanksgiving Eve this Wednesday. Penn State posted a 4-1 victory at St. Thomas and Bemidji State earned a 4-3 triumph on the road at Arizona State.

Grant Loven scored the lone-goal for the Tommies 51 seconds into the middle frame, scoring top-shelf from the left circle to tie the contest 1-1. Christiano Versich recorded the assist. Arizona State scored the next three goals. St. Thomas' Jacob Berger made 29 saves on 34 Penn State shots.

Bemidji State scored the first two goals of the game. Owen Sillinger recorded two points (1G, 1A), Alex Ierullo, Ross Armour and Tyler Kirkup each added a goal. Bemidji State outshot Arizona State 33-26. Sholl made 23 saves on 26 Arizona State shots. Bemidji State will face Arizona State again Friday night.
