Seven of eight CCHA teams were in action Friday night. Lake Superior State upset number-one nationally ranked Minnesota State 1-0 on home ice in Sault Ste. Marie. No. 20 Bemidji State dropped a 6-4 decision at Arizona State, Northern Michigan beat Bowling Green 6-3 and Michigan Tech erased a two-goal defecit to win 6-4 over Ferris State.
Brian Halonen tallied an impressive four point night (1G, 3A) and Trenton Bliss scored twice including an assist for Michigan Tech. Nick Nardecchia tallied a goal and an assist for Ferris State
Louis Boudon scored the lone goal for Lake Superior State and Ethan Langenegger posted a 22-save shutout.
NMU had scoring by committee with 10 different players recording points and David Keefer scored once and added an assist. Taylor Schneider recorded three points (2G, 1A) for Bowling Green.
Both Owen Sillinger and Elias Rosen recorded three-point nights (1G, 2A) as well. Lukas Sillinger tallied a goal and an assist and Alex Ierullo nothced two assists for Bemidji State.
