CCHA Forward of the Week: Mikey Colella, So., Northern Michigan (Wenonah, NJ)

In their throwback game Saturday recognizing the 1991 NMU championship hockey team, Mikey Colella had a career-high night, scoring his first collegiate hat trick, recording an assist for four-points and was named first star of the game. In two games played against BU, he posted four shots on goal, scoring on three of those chances. He had an assist on Friday night's game-winning goal for a five-point weekend. Colella also registered two blocked shots on the weekend to help lift his team to the weekend sweep over the Terriers and improve the CCHA league record vs. the Hockey East to 5-0-0. With eight goals this season, Colella is now tied with teammate AJ Vanderbeck for most in the conference. His 12 total points (8-4-12) ranks sixth overall. His eight goals is tied for second most in the nation and he's averaging 0.89 goals per game (sixth in the NCAA). With his hat trick Saturday, he became the 18th collegiate skater to record a three-goal game this season and fifth in the CCHA.

CCHA Defenseman of the Week: Trevor Cosgrove, Sr., Northern Michigan (Exeter, NH)

Cosgrove recorded a career-high night Saturday with a goal and two assists. He doubled his season point-total in one game to now boast six points off two goals and four assists as a Wildcat. Cosgrove led the team in shots Friday night, registering five pucks on net. He scored on the power-play Saturday night, one of the Wildcats' four PPG on the night. Registered two power-play assists en-route to the 'Cats' 6-2 victory Saturday and improve the CCHA league record vs. the Hockey East to 5-0-0.

CCHA Goaltender of the Week: Logan Stein, So., Ferris State (Suwanee, GA)

Stein held the nationally No. 2-ranked Minnesota State Mavericks to a single goal in Ferris State's upset win over the Mavericks on Saturday with a .969 save percentage (personal best of the season) to pick up his team-leading third win.  Stein's .969 mark is the highest save percentage against the Mavericks of any collegiate goaltender dating back to January 29. Stein played just the Friday night contest and picked up his first collegiate win over a top five team in the contest.

CCHA Rookie of the Week: Austen Swankler, Fr., Bowling Green (North Huntingdon, PA)

Austen Swankler earns the CCHA Rookie of the Week honor for the second time this season after scoring  a goal in both of Bowling Green's games this weekend to help the Falcons sweep St. Thomas. On Friday, Swankler scored BGSU's first goal, a power-play score just two minutes into the second period. The Falcons went on to win the series opener, 4-2. On Saturday, Swankler earned an assist on Alex Barber's power-play goal in the first period.
