Friday Highlights: Four teams win big

All eight CCHA teams were in action in league-play Friday night, four of which won big. Number one nationally ranked Minnesota State posted a 5-1 road victory at Bemidji State, No. 19 Northern Michigan dropped a 7-2 decision at Lake Superior State, Ferris State beat Bowling Green 6-3 and Michigan Tech bested St. Thomas 6-1. 

Minnesota State received scoring from five different players. Both David Silye (2A) and Brendan Furry (1G, 1A) tallied two points. 

Seven players recorded two-point games for Lake Superior State: Dustin Manz scored twice and Ethan Langenegger made 23 saves on 25 shots.

For Ferris State, Justin Michaelian scored twice, and Sam Skinner had two assists. Logan Stein made 30 saves on 33 shots. For Bowling Green, Alex Barber scored twice and Austen Swankler tallied two assists.

At Michigan Tech, the Huskies' Justin Misiak recorded a three point night (2G, 1A).
