The Central Collegiate Hockey Association’s Forward of the Month, Bemidji State University senior co-captain Owen Sillinger, has now been selected as the Hockey Commissioners Association’s Men’s National Player of the Month for all of NCAA Division I men’s hockey. The Regina, Saskatchewan native recorded 14 points in six games during November.

Sillinger led the Beavers to a 4-2-0 record in November, which included a 3-1 record on the road and a 3-1 mark in league play. The senior netted a team-high 14 points on a BSU-best seven goals and seven assists. He sparked a power-play unit that was 7-for-17 (.412) during the month of play by collecting two goals and four assists for a team-high six points on the man advantage. In addition, he logged a game-winning goal.

This season, he leads BSU in goal (8) and assist (13) scoring and possesses a team-high 21 points, which also ties him for the CCHA scoring lead.

In 109 games as a member of the Beaver Hockey program, Sillinger has piled up 89 points on 42 goals and 47 assists to lead all current Beavers in scoring.
