Suspension announced for BGSU's Collin

The Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) announced Monday that Bowling Green Sophomore Chrystopher Collin has been suspended for one game stemming from an incident at 19:31 of the third period on Friday, December 17 against Ohio State University. The on-ice call was a 5-minute major and game disqualification for Fighting.
 
The suspension will be served during the next game, which falls on December 28, 2021, against Providence and will be eligible to return to the Falcons’ lineup on Wednesday, December 29, 2021.

The Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) competes in the highest level of NCAA Division I Hockey and is regarded as one of the top player development leagues in the world for the National Hockey League (NHL). The CCHA consists of eight member institutions, four in the state of Michigan: Ferris State University, Lake Superior State University, Michigan Technological University and Northern Michigan University. Three in the State of Minnesota: Minnesota State University-Mankato, Bemidji State University and University of St. Thomas. One in Ohio: Bowling Green State University.
