Friday CCHA Preview: BSU & LSSU on home ice

There's only one CCHA league game on the docket this Friday night as the Bemidji State Beavers host the Ferris State Bulldogs for the first of a two game series this weekend. Lake Superior State is hosting the United States National Team Development Program (USNTDP) in an exhibition contest. The Northern Michigan vs. Michigan Tech home-and-home series was postponed due to health and safety protocols within the Northern Michigan program.

Bemidji State hosts Ferris State this weekend for its only regular season meeting with the Bulldogs this season. The Beavers are 16-16-5 (.500) all-time against the Bulldogs and but are just 6-8-2 (.438) when playing at home. BSU and FSU last met Feb. 5-6, 2-21 in Big Rapids, Mich., where the Beavers went 1-0-1 against the Bulldogs.

In 12 all-time meetings between the Lakers and the U.S. National Team Development Program (NTDP), Team USA holds the advantage with a 5-4-3 record. Last season, the Lakers fell to the Under-18 Team in a shootout by a final score of 5-4 at the USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Mich.
