CCHA Forward of the Week: Louis Boudon, Sr., Lake Superior State (Grenoble, France)

Boudon paced all CCHA skaters with three goals and an assist last week for four points, helping the Lakers to a split with Clarkson. The Lake Superior State captain recorded one goal on the power-play, one shorthanded and one at even-strength, with league-highs in face-off wins (28) and shots on goal (11), while posting a +3 for the weekend.

CCHA Defenseman of the Week: Jake Livingstone, Jr., Minnesota State (Creston, B.C.)

Livingstone helped the eighth-ranked Mavericks to a five-point weekend at home, registering two assists for two points against Bowling Green. Picking up one helper in each game, he assisted on the tying goal in the Mavericks’ comeback win on Saturday. Also, recording six shots on goal, he was even for the weekend with one block at the defensive end of the ice.

CCHA Goaltender of the Week: Blake Pietila, Sr., Michigan Tech (Howell, Mich.)

Pietila stopped all 36 shots he faced on the weekend in picking up a pair of shutout wins over St. Lawrence by scores of 6-0 and 3-0. Recording 18 saves in each game, he made eight stops while the Huskies were shorthanded, helping the penalty kill go a perfect 8-for-8. This is the second Goaltender of the Week award for Pietila, who now leads the nation in shutouts (3).

CCHA Rookie of the Week: Beni Halasz, Fr., Northern Michigan (Budapest, Hungary)

Halasz went 1-1-0 with a 2.02 goals-against average and a .920 save percentage in two starts last week, helping the Wildcats to a split with Alaska. He made 20 stops in a 2-1 loss on Friday, before turning away 26 in a 3-2 victory on Saturday. For the weekend, he saved 10-of-11 shots while shorthanded.
