Ferris State won its fourth straight game, topping Northern Michigan at home in the series opener, while No. 16 Minnesota State bounced back to clip Bowling Green on the road. Lake Superior State ended a skid of its own after erasing a 2-0 deficit to win in overtime at Bemidji State.
