Tuesday Highlights: #15 Michigan Tech downs NMU

Tommy Parrottino recorded a four-point night (2G, 2A), Trenton Bliss also tallied four points (1G, 3A) and Blake Pietila made 22 saves on 23 shots to lead No. 15 Michigan Tech to a 5-1 victory over rival Northern Michigan in front of 2,744 fans Tuesday night.

It was Michigan Tech's fifth consecutive win, and seventh-straight in CCHA conference play. The Huskies, who are nationally ranked 15th and listed seventh in the NCAA Tournament Pairwise comparison ratings, are in second place in the CCHA.
