The 2022 CCHA Mason Cup semifinal round begins Saturday with No. 1 seed Minnesota State hosting No. 5 seed Northern Michigan and No. 2 Michigan Tech hosting No. 3 Bemidji State. Both games are single elimination games with the highest remaining seed hosting the 2022 CCHA Mason Cup Championship on their campus next Saturday, Mar. 19 for an automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament.

Michigan Tech is 19-19-7 all-time against Bemidji State, dating back to 2007. The Huskies are 10-5-5 in games played against the Beavers in Houghton.
