Sunday Highlights: BSU advances, NMU upsets to move on

Third seed Bemidji State recorded a 3-1 victory over sixth seed Bowling Green Sunday to earn a 2-1 series triumph to advance to the Mason Cup Playoffs semifinals and fifth seed Northern Michigan posted the lone upset in the playoffs to overcome fourth seed Lake Superior State. Teams are reseeded 1-4 after the quarterfinals round.

Now, No. 1 Minnesota State will host No. 4 Northern Michigan Saturday at 6:07 p.m. CT and No. 2 Michigan Tech will host No. 3 Bemidji State at 6:07 p.m. ET Saturday in single elimination contests.
