The Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) has announced the release of its weekly podcast, “The CCHA Show,” which will feature interviews, analysis and highlights of the week in CCHA action. Fans can subscribe to the show on Apple, Spotify or Google Podcasts.
Episode 1.1 features CCHA Commissioner Don Lucia and Director of Officiating Kevin Langseth, while Episode 1.2, which drops today, includes interviews with CCHA Preseason Player of the Year Brendan Furry from Minnesota State and Freshman of the Year Joey Larson from Northern Michigan.

The CCHA officially drops the puck on year two of the reconfigured league this weekend, with seven of the eight teams in action. Bowling Green and Northern Michigan get their conference schedules underway with a two-game set in Marquette, Mich., while Ferris State and St. Thomas play non-league series against Miami (OH) and No. 13 St. Cloud State, respectively.
No. 3 Minnesota State, Lake Superior State and No. 20 Michigan Tech all have exhibition contests lined up throughout the weekend.
