Friday Recap: Mavs On Top

No. 19 Minnesota State jumped back to the top of the CCHA standings by a single point, defeating Northern Michigan on the road to open a weekend series. Bowling Green won its third in a row by topping Lake Superior State, while No. 16 Michigan Tech advanced to the championship of the Desert Hockey Classic with a win over host Arizona State. No. 20 Bemidji State had to settle for a tie with Minnesota Duluth to open thier home-and-home series.
