Friday Recap: Mile High Tie

Another wildly entertaining Friday night in the CCHA saw four of six contest go to overtime, including a come-from-behind 5-5 tie by Augustana at No. 2 Denver. In conference action, Bemidji State held off a late charge from St. Thomas, 3-2, while Ferris State won at Northern Michigan in OT, 2-1, to open their two-game set. Lake Superior State edged Clarkson and Michigan Tech tied at St. Lawrence, while Minnesota State fell in its non-league series-opener at No. 4 North Dakota.
