Sunday Recap: History Made

Opening weekend concluded with a number of splits across CCHA action. No. 8 St. Cloud State fought back to split with St. Thomas, edging the Tommies, 1-0. Miami topped Ferris State, 5-2, to also pick up a share of the weekend, while Robert Morris answered getting shut out by Bowling Green on Friday, with a 3-0 win of their own. No. 9 Michigan State held off Lake Superior State, 4-2, for the sweep and Wisconsin topped Augustana, 3-0, to complete a sweep in the Vikings' inaugural series.
