Friday Recap: Rivalries Renewed

Michigan Tech opened its weekend series in Mankato with a 3-2 overtime win, while Bowling Green raced past Northern Michigan in the third period to win 6-2. St. Thomas pushed its winning streak to a program-best five games at the Division I level by topping Lake Superior State, 4-2. In non-league action, Bemidji State took No. 1 North Dakota to overtime, before falling 3-2. Augustana dropped a narrow 2-1 decision at Nebraska Omaha.
