Friday Recap: Hard Points

Points were tough to come on Friday night, as only Ferris State was able to pick up all three in a 5-2 victory over St. Thomas. Minnesota State won a shootout at Lake Superior State (2-2) and Bowling Green came back to take 2-of-3 with an overtime victory (2-1) at Michigan Tech. In non-league action, Northern Michigan and Augustana tied 2-2 in the first meeting between the future conference foes.
