CCHA Forward of the Week: Timo Bakos, Junior, Lake Superior State (Augsburg, Germany)

Bakos notched a league-high four assists in just one game last week, leading Lake Superior State to a 5-1 victory over Ferris State. Posting a +2 on Saturday night, he notched one shot on goal in the contest. He set up the Lakers’ final four tallies in the game, including the game-winner.

CCHA Defenseman of the Week: Vince Corcoran, So., Bemidji State (Plainsville, Ill.)

Corcoran produced a goal and an assist to help Bemidji State to a weekend sweep of Bowling Green last week, posting seven shots on goal – the most by any conference defenseman – while helping the Beavers climb to first place in the CCHA standings. His weekend was highlighted by scoring his first collegiate goal and adding an assist in Bemidji State’s 5-2 victory on Saturday night.

CCHA Goaltender of the Week: Mattias Sholl, Jr., Bemidji State (Hermosa Beach, Calif.)

Sholl went 2-0-0 with a 1.50 goals-against average and a .919 save percentage in helping Bemidji State to a home sweep of Bowling Green last weekend. Returning from injury for his first action since late October, he made 18 saves on Friday in a 3-1 victory, before turning away 16-of-18 shots in a 5-2 win on Saturday. He aided the Beavers' penalty kill to a perfect 6-for-6 week, stopping all nine shots that came his way.

CCHA Rookie of the Week: Cam Kungle, Fr., Lake Superior State (Red Deer, Alb.)

Kungle led all CCHA freshmen with two points last week, picking up a goal – the first of his collegiate career – and an assist in a 5-1 victory at Ferris State on Saturday night. He was +2 in the contest, with three shots on goal. The defenseman also finished with a team-high blocked shots.
