Friday Recap: Mavs Strike Back

No. 13 Minnesota State climbed back into first place and clinched home ice through the first two rounds of the Mason Cup Playoffs with a victory at Bemidji State on Friday. Northern Michigan ran past Ferris State to keep its home ice hopes alive, while Lake Superior State avenged a early-season sweep by topping St. Thomas to open a weekend series.
