Saturday Recap: Sweep's The Word

All three home teams picked up critical sweeps this weekend, thank Saturday victories. Minnesota State shut out Ferris State, 4-0, while Lake Superior State answered being swept at Northern Michigan by taking two at home this weekend, including a Cappo Cup-clinching 5-2 victory on Saturday night. Not to be outdone, St. Thomas collected its first ever sweep of Michigan Tech, taking the finale, 3-1.
