Friday Recap: Bottoms Up

The four teams entering the weekend looking up at the four home ice positions all came away with wins on Friday night, tightening the standings once again. Michigan Tech defended home ice against Bemidji State, 2-1, while Northern Michigan did the same against St. Thomas, 2-1. Bowling Green got a late goal to top Minnesota State at "The Slate" and Ferris State topped Lake Superior State, 5-3, in the familiar leg of a home-and-home weekend. Augustana continued to build on its impressive opening season with a 5-4 win at No. 16 Arizona State.
