No. 20 Minnesota State hosts No. 5 North Dakota for a pair, while Northern Michigan and Lake Superior State welcome Alaska Anchorage and Stonehill to their respective barns. Bowling Green travels to No. 16/17 Western Michigan and RIT on Thursday and Saturday, while Ferris State visits St. Lawrence out of ECAC Hockey. The Bulldogs are 9-5-0 all-time against the Saints, dating back to 1993. Each team picked up a win last year in a split in Big Rapids. The Seawolves were able to salvage a split from their last trip to Marquette in 2022, winning 3-1, after Northern Michigan claimed a 9-1 victory in the series opener. NMU took nationally-ranked Colorado College to overtime last Friday, before dropping the series finale. Anchorage have opened their 2024-25 campaign against No. 1 Denver and Miami (OH), falling in all four contests.
