Saturday Recap: Beavers & Falcons Earn OT Wins

All nine CCHA teams were in action on Saturday, including Michigan Tech and Northern Michigan squaring off in an exhibition, which was won by the Huskies, 4-3. Bemidji State and Bowling Green each claimed overtime wins over No. 18 Minnesota Duluth (4-3) and Mercyhurst (5-4), respectively. No. 7 Michigan bounced back to split with Minnesota, while No. 4 Michigan State topped Lake Superior State in the series finale.

Ferris State tied Miami (OH), before taking the exhibition shootout for the second straight night, while Augustana claimed an exhibition win at North Dakota, 4-1. St. Thomas also claimed victory in an exhibition contest against Manitoba, 4-2.
