Saturday Recap: Loud Response

Bemidji State bounced back from a loss on Thursday to thwart No. 3 Minnesota at home, 3-1, on Saturday night. In CCHA play, St. Thomas rebounded as well, earning the split with a 6-3 triumph over Bowling Green. Ferris State topped Lake Superior State, 3-2, for coach Bob Daniels' 500th win, while Northern Michigan claimed its first points of the season after picking up a shootout victory at No. 16 Minnesota State.

In exhibition action, Augustana finished off its sweep of the U.S. National Under-18 Team.
