The Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) has announced its Players of the Week for November 1-2 and four student-athletes from four different programs have been recognized. Max Koskipirtti (Michigan Tech) earned Forward of the Week, while Dalton Norris (Bowling Green) was the conference’s Defenseman of the Week. Alex Tracy (Minnesota State) collected his second Goaltend of the Week honor this season and Grayden Slipec (Northern Michigan) was selected as the Rookie of the Week.

CCHA Forward of the Week: Max Koskipirtti, So., Michigan Tech (Espoo, Finland)
Koskipirtti paced all CCHA skaters with four points last week, scoring a pair of goals and assisting on two more, helping the Huskies to a sweep of rival Northern Michigan. Posting a +2, he had one power-play tally, seven shots on goal and won 45% (18-of-40) face-offs. On Friday, he netted a power play goal in Michigan Tech’s 3-0 shutout win, before notching his first career three-point game (2 goals, 1 assist) in a 6-3 triumph on Saturday night.
CCHA Defenseman of the Week: Dalton Norris, Jr., Bowling Green (Oxford, Mich.)
Norris led conference blueliners with three points last week, dishing out three assists in a home sweep of Ferris State. He notched six shots on goal and blocked two at the defensive end of the ice. His weekend was highlighted by his first career three-point game on Saturday night, which included setting up tying and go-ahead goals in the second period.
CCHA Goaltender of the Week: Alex Tracy, Jr., Minnesota State (Chicago, Ill.)
Tracy went 1-1-0 with CCHA-bests in goals-against average (1.01) and save percentage (.969) last week, helping Minnesota State to a split at Bemidji State. Totaling 63 saves on the weekend, he stopped 56-of-57 shots while the Mavericks were at even-strength. His weekend was highlighted by making a career-high 43 saves in a 2-1 Mavericks victory on Saturday night.
CCHA Rookie of the Week: Grayden Slipec, Fr., Northern Michigan (Surrey, B.C.)
Slipec led all CCHA rookies in goals (2) and points (3) last week, recording eight shots on goal and one block defensively. On Saturday night at Michigan Tech, he had a hand in all three Wildcats’ goals, netting a pair of power-play tallies and assisting on another. His second multi-point game of the year saw him register four shots on target.
