Men's Ice Hockey 2/24/2024 10:31:44 PM Saturday Recap: The Tail Continues Bemidji State became the first CCHA team to clinch home ice through the quarterfinal round of the Mason Cup Playoffs with a 3-1 victory at St. Thomas on Saturday night. The win also pushed the Beavers closer to their second-ever MacNaughton Cup title, neading just a single point to claim a share the trophy and two points to win it outright. Minnesota State, which provides the lone obstacle in that quest, also picked up a win on Saturday, coming back to beat Lake Superior State, 4-3. Michigan Tech completed its sweep at Bowling Green to reclaim a top-4, while Ferris State tied Northern Michigan, 1-1, before taking the shootout win on Senior Night. Augustana blanked Alaska Anchorage to earn a weekend split.  Notable Links: CCHA Schedule Live Scores & Results Standings Player & Team Stats CCHA TV Highlights The CCHA Show (on Apple & Spotify) CCHA News Headlines CCHA Merchandise Store Ferris State 1, Northern Michigan 1 (OT) - FSU wins Shootout Box Score Ferris State University's Stepan Pokorny scored in the first round of the shootout and Noah Giesbrecht saved all three Northern Michigan attempts as the Bulldogs won their second shootout of the season Saturday (Feb. 24) in the Ewigleben Ice Arena ...
