For the weekend, he notched four shots on goal and one block at the defensive end of the ice.

CCHA Defenseman of the Week: Michael Bevilacqua, Fr., Bowling Green (Hamburg, N.Y.)

Trotter went 1-1-0 with a 2.92 goals-against average and a .919 save percentage, helping the Tommies to a four-point weekend in first-place battle with Minnesota State. Also recording his first two assists of the year, he made a league-best 68 saves across the two contests, including 33 in a 4-2 road victory on Saturday night. His 35 stops on Friday night were his second-highest total of the year.

CCHA Rookie of the Week: Kevin Marx Noren, Fr., Northern Michigan (Knivsta, Sweden)

Marx Noren paced all CCHA skaters with four assists last week, helping Northern Michigan take 5-of-6 points from rival Michigan Tech. He recorded a pair of helpers along with a game-high seven shots on goal in a 4-1 home win over the Huskies on Friday.
