The Huskies return to the NCAA Tournament for the third consecutive year, but look for their first win in the event since 1981, after winning their first Mason Cup Championship last week. Hockey East Champion Boston College, which is the No. 1 in the polls, is a six-time national champion, but has not made the NCAA Tournament since 2021. The Eagles lead the all-time series 7-4-0, but Tech is 3-2-0 in neutral site competition. The three-time national champion Huskies are 2-0-0 against BC in the NCAA Tournament, including a national semifinal win in 1956 and a national championship victory in 1965.
