Friday Recap: Playoff Payoff

Top-seeded Bemidji State need a final minute goal force overtime, before topping Ferris State, 5-4, in Game 1 of the Mason Cup Quarterfinals. Michigan Tech and Minnesota State also took care of business on home ice, winning 5-0 and 2-1, respectively, over Bowling Green and Northern Michigan, while Lake Superior State was the lone road victor on the night, winning 4-1 over St. Thomas.
