CCHA Hands Down Suspension to NMU's Bolduc

The Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) announced Monday that Northern Michigan University freshman Medrick Bolduc has been suspended for one game, stemming from an incident at 15:56 mark of the third period on Saturday night against Lake Superior State.

An east/west check with elevation by the left shoulder directly to the head of the LSSU player is unacceptable and goes against the principles of fair play and respect that the CCHA upholds.

The suspension will be served during Northern Michigan's next game, which falls on February 21, 2025, against St. Thomas and Bolduc will be eligible to return to the Wildcats' lineup on Saturday, February 22, 2025.
