The Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) has announced its Players of the Week for February 21-22 and four student-athletes from three different programs have been recognized. Josh Groll (Minnesota State) was named Forward of the Week, while Isa Parekh (Bemidji State) picked up Defenseman of the Week honors. Alex Tracy (Minnesota State) earned his fifth Goaltender of the Week award and Elias Jansson (Michigan Tech) garnered his fourth Rookie of the Week.

CCHA Forward of the Week: Josh Groll, Gr., Minnesota State (San Diego, Calif.)
Groll paced all CCHA skaters with five points last week, scoring three goals with two assists and a league-best +5 rating. Netting one game-winning goal, he totaled five shots on goal and one block defensively, helping the Mavericks to a road sweep of Lake Superior State. On Friday, he netted a pair of goals, including the eventual game-winner in a 4-0 Minnesota State victory. He then produced a game-high three points (1 goal, 2 assists) in a 4-1 win on Saturday.
CCHA Defenseman of the Week: Isa Parekh, Fr., Bemidji State (Nobleton, Ont.)
Parekh helped the Beavers take 5-of-6 points from their weekend series with Bowling Green, dishing out two assists and posting a +3 rating. On Friday, he assisted on the game-winning goal in a 3-2 Beavers victory, before setting up the tying goal, with 11 seconds left in regulation, in a 2-1 overtime win on Saturday. For the week, he collected two shots on goal and two blocks defensively.
CCHA Goaltender of the Week: Alex Tracy, Jr., Minnesota State (Chicago, Ill.)
Tracy went 2-0-0 with league-bests in goals-against average (0.50) and save percentage (.984), as the Minnesota State locked up its seventh MacNaughton Cup title in eight years, sweeping Lake Superior State on the road. He recorded 63 saves in 119:50 of action, posting a 32-save shutout on Friday, before stopping 31-of-32 shots in a 4-1 win on Saturday night.
CCHA Rookie of the Week: Elias Jansson, Fr., Michigan Tech (Oulu, Finland)
Jansson paced CCHA rookies with three points (1 goal, 2 assists) last week, helping Michigan Tech to a split with Ferris State. On Friday, he had two assists, including setting up the eventual game-winning goal in 6-1 Huskies victory. He then netted the opening tally in a 3-2 loss on Saturday. For the weekend, he totaled four shots on goal and one block defensively.
