The Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) has announced its Players of the Week for January 31-February 1 and four student-athletes from four different programs have been recognized. Ethan Scardina (Bowling Green) was named Forward of the Week, while Evan Murr (Minnesota State) garnered Defenseman of the Week honors. Noah West (Ferris State) picked up his second Goaltender of the Week honor and Tyler Hennen was the Rookie of the Week.

CCHA Forward of the Week: Ethan Scardina, Gr., Bowling Green (South Surrey, B.C.)
Scardina posted a CCHA-best four points last week on two goals and two assists, helping Bowling Green take 5-of-6 points at Northern Michigan. Adding a league-high +5 to his resume, he had six shots on goal and one block defensively. The Falcons captain had a goal and an assist in a 3-2 overtime win on Friday, before netting the game-winner with another helper on Saturday - a 5-2 victory.
CCHA Defenseman of the Week: Evan Murr, So., Minnesota State (Stillwater, Minn.)
Murr led conference blueliners with four points (2 goals, 2 assists) last week in a home-and-home split with St. Thomas. He notched two goals in a 3-2 loss to the Tommies on Friday, before dishing out a pair of assists in a critical 3-2 overtime victory on Saturday. For the week, he had seven shots on goal and two blocks defensively.
CCHA Goaltender of the Week: Noah West, Gr., Ferris State (Pittsboro, Ind.)
West went 2-0-0, while leading CCHA netminders in goals-against average (1.00) and save percentage (.968), leading Ferris State to a road sweep of Bemidji State. In 120:00 minutes, he totaled 60 saves, including 31 on Friday's 5-1 victory. He followed that up by turning away 29-of-30 shots in a 3-1 Bulldogs win on Saturday night.
CCHA Rookie of the Week: Tyler Hennen, Fr., Augustana (Hallock, Minn.)
Hennen propelled then-No. 19 Augustana to a sweep of Lake Superior State last week, pacing conference rookies with four points (1 goal, 3 assists). He was +3 for the weekend, with three shots on goal. On Friday, he recorded a goal and an assist in a 6-3 Vikings win, before handing two helpers in a 4-3 come-from-behind victory.
