Friday Recap: Down to the Wire

St. Thomas continued its second half surge by holding off Michigan Tech to move into the top four of the CCHA standings, while Ferris State and Lake Superior State picked up wins on Friday, but weren't able to climb any higher, due to Bemidji State's comeback tie and shootout win at No. 14/17 Minnesota State. 

Spots 3-4-5 in the standings and Mason Cup Playoffs are up for grabs on Saturday night, along with the 6-7-8 positions, which are each separated by a single point.
