Men's Ice Hockey 3/14/2025 12:41:45 PM Weekend Preview: Semifinal Saturday The 2025 Mason Cup Semifinals are upon us as top-seed Minnesota State hosts seventh-seed Bemidji State on Saturday night, following third-seed St. Thomas welcoming fourth-seed Bowling Green to town. The winner of each game will meet in the Mason Cup Championship Game next Saturday at the highest remaining seed. The Tommies took the regular season series, 2-1-1, including a split in Bowling Green in early February. Saturday's game features four All-CCHA forwards, including two from each team. The Mavericks swept their Quarterfinal series with Lake Superior State at home last weekend, while the Beavers took three games to upset Augustana on the road. Minnesota State owns a 69-64-17 lead in the all-time series, including a 2-1 overtime victory in the 2022 Mason Cup Championship Game in Mankato.
