The Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) has announced its Players of the Week for October 3-5 and four student-athletes from four different programs have been recognized. Adam Flammang (Bemidji State) was named Forward of the Week, while Chase Cheslock (St. Thomas) picked up Defenseman of the Week honors. William Gramme (Northern Michigan) earned the Goaltender of the Week award and Calem Mangone garnered Rookie of the Week.

CCHA Forward of the Week: Adam Flammang, Sr., Bemidji State (St. Michael, Minn.)
Flammang led all CCHA skaters with five points last week, scoring a goal and assisting on four others in a road sweep of Alaska Anchorage. He was a +3 in the series, with six shots on goal. On Friday, he netted the game-winning goal and dished out three helpers in a 9-2 Beavers victory. He then assisted on the eventual game-winner in a 5-0 shutout win on Saturday.
CCHA Defenseman of the Week: Chase Cheslock, Jr., St. Thomas (Rogers, Minn.)
Cheslock paced conference blueliners in points per game (2.0), collecting a pair of assists in a 4-3 victory for No. 19 St. Thomas at St. Cloud State. With one shot on goal in the contest, he set up Jake Braccini for the Tommies' third goal, before assisting on Nathan Pilling's game-winner in the third period.
CCHA Goaltender of the Week: William Gramme, Jr., Northern Michigan (Stockholm, Sweden)
Gramme posted a .947 save percentage last week, stopping 107-of-113 shots for the Wildcats in a season-opening series at No. 15 UMass. On Saturday, he made a school-record 66 stops in a 5-3 loss to the Minutemen, including a record 34 stops in the first period. He then turned away 42 in a 4-1 defeat on Sunday.
CCHA Rookie of the Week: Calem Mangone, Fr., Lake Suprior State (Sault Ste. Marie, Ont.)
Mangone recorded the most goals in the nation among rookies on opening weekend, scoring three times in Lake Superior State's road sweep of Stonehill. His four points were second-most in the country and his nine shots ranked sixth. He was +4 with a power play tally, a game-winner and a blocked shot.
