The Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) has announced its Players of the Week for December 12-13 and four student-athletes from four different programs have been recognized. Lucas Wahlin (St. Thomas) was named the Forward of the Week, while Ralfs Bergmanis (Minnesota State) garnered Defenseman of the Week honors. Owen Bartoszkiewicz (Michigan Tech) picked up his third Goaltender of the Week award and Jacob Jastrzebski (Augustana) claimed his first career Rookie of the Week.

CCHA Forward of the Week: Lucas Wahlin, Sr., St. Thomas (Woodbury, Minn.)
Wahlin paced CCHA skaters with three goals last weekend, leading the Tommies to a road sweep of Northern Michigan. Finishing at +1 for the series, he led the league's forwards in game-winning goals (2), shots on goal (10) and average time on ice (22:15), while also winning 63.6% (7-of-11) of his face-off attempts. On Friday, he scored both goals in St. Thomas' 2-0 shutout victory over the Wildcats. He then netted the game-winning tally with one second left in reguation on Saturday, in a 4-3 triumph.
CCHA Defenseman of the Week: Ralfs Bergmanis, Sr., Minnesota State (Liepaja, Latvia)
Bergmanis led conference blueliners with three points last week, scoring a goal with two assists at Augustana. Even for the weekend, he had five shots on goal and two blocks defensively, while averaging 22:23 minutes per contest. His series was highlighted by scoring the game-tying goal in the Mavericks comeback 4-4 tie on Saturday, while also dishing out a pair of helpers.
CCHA Goaltender of the Week: Owen Bartoszkiewicz, Jr., Michigan Tech (Northville, Mich.)
Bartoszkiewicz went 2-0 with a 2.00 goals-against average and a .923 save percentage last week, helping Michigan Tech to a road sweep of Ferris State. Stopping 48-of-52 shots on the weekend, he had 22 stops in a 3-2 victory on Friday, before turning away 26-of-28 Bulldogs attempts in a 5-2 victory on Saturday. He also helped the Tech penalty kill to a perfect 4-for-4 series, stopping all six shots he faced.
CCHA Rookie of the Week: Jacob Jastrzebski, Fr., Augustana (Chicago, Ill.)
Jastrzebski recorded a CCHA-best four points last week, helping the Vikings take 5-of-6 points from their home series against then-No. 14 Minnesota State. He scored one goal with three assists and was a +3 with five shots on goal and five blocks, while winning 54.3% (19-of-35) of his face-off attempts. On Friday, he dished out a pair of assists in a 3-1 Augustana win. He then scored on a penalty shot and recorded an assist in a 4-4 tie on Saturday, before the Vikings took the shootout point.
