The Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) has announced its Players of the Week for October 8-11 and four student-athletes from three different programs have been recognized. Noah Morneau (Bowling Green) was named Forward of the Week, while Landon Fandel (Augustana) was the Defenseman of the Week. Mathis Langevin (Augustana) picked up Goaltender of the Week honors and Cooper Foster (Lake Superior State) was the Rookie of the Week.

CCHA Forward of the Week: Noah Morneau, So., Bowling Green (Windsor, Ont.)
Morneau led the Falcons to a 2026 Ice Breaker Tournament win, posting a league-high five points on two goals and three assists. He had a pair of helpers in Bowling Green's 3-2 victory over Sacred Heart on Friday, before netting two goals with one assist in a 5-2 win at then-No. 16 UConn on Saturday. For the weekend, he was a +3 with three shots, one block, one power-play goal and one game winner.
CCHA Defenseman of the Week: Landon Fandel, So., Augustana (Sioux Falls, S.D.)
Fandel paced CCHA blueliners with two points (1 goal, 1 assist) last week, helping the Vikings to a win and a tie against then-No. 5 Minnesota Duluth. On Friday, he scored a third-period tying goal before Augie went on to win 4-3 in overtime. He then assisted on the Vikings' only tally in 1-1 tie on Saturday night. For the weekend, he averaged 18:33 minutes per contest, while posting a +1 rating with three shots.
CCHA Goaltender of the Week: Mathis Langevin, So., Augustana (St-Zotique, Que.)
Langevin went 1-0-1 against then-No. 5 Minnesota Duluth last week, leading all conference two-start goaltenders with a 1.92 goals-against average and a .937 save percentage. He stopped 59-of-63 shots on the weekend, including 34-of-35 in Saturday night's 1-1 tie against the Bulldogs.
CCHA Rookie of the Week: Cooper Foster, Fr., Lake Superior State (Sault Ste. Marie, Que.)
Foster led the nation in points by a rookie last week, dishing out four assists in Laker Superior State's road split with Lindenwood. He won 62.5% (20-of-32) of draws, while averaging 17:33 minutes per game and totaling four shots. On Thursday, he had one helper in a 7-4 loss to the Lions. He then assisted on three of four goals in a 4-3 Lakers' victory on Friday.
