The Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) has announced its Players of the Week for October 30-31 and four student-athletes from two different programs have been recognized. Leo Bulgakov (Augustana) was named Forward of the Week, while Maxon Vig (Bemidji State) was the Defenseman of the Week. Mathis Langevin (Augustana) picked up Goaltender of the Week honors and Heath Nelson (Augustana) was the Rookie of the Week.

CCHA Forward of the Week: Leo Bulgakov, So., Augustana (Minsk, Belarus)
Bulgakov led conference skaters in goals (2), assists (3), points (5), shots on goal (10) and plus-minus (+7) last week, leading then-No. 11 Augustana to a sweep of Northern Michigan. On Friday, he had a goal and three assists as the Vikings set a single-game program record for goals in a game in a 12-0 victory. He then tallied in a 4-1 win on Saturday.
CCHA Defenseman of the Week: Maxon Vig, So., Bemidji State (Bismarck, N.D.)
Vig helped the Beavers to a five-point weekend, scoring one goal and dishing out one assist for two points, while averaging 22:58 minutes per game against Ferris State. Even for the series, he notched five shots on goal and blocked two at the defensive end. On Friday, he recorded an assist in Bemidji State's 6-1 victory over the Bulldogs. He then netted the tying goal on Saturday, before the Beavers claimed the bonus shootout point, following a 4-4 final score.
CCHA Goaltender of the Week: Mathis Langevin, So., Augustana (St-Zotique, Que.)
Langevin went 2-0-0 with a 0.50 goals-against average and a .975 save percentage, which were both good for third-best in the nation. Stopping 39-of-40 shots on the weekend against Northern Michigan, he posted a 19-save shutout on Friday in which the Vikings won 12-0, before stopping 20 in a 4-1 victory on Saturday night.
CCHA Rookie of the Week: Heath Nelson, Fr., Augustana (Lino Lakes, Minn.)
Nelson paced CCHA rookies with five points last week, scoring two goals with two assists and a +6 rating. Helping then-No. 11 Augustana to a sweep of Northern Michigan, he scored twice, including the game-winning goal and added three assists, in the Vikings' record-breaking 12-0 win on Friday night.
