Saturday Recap: Mavericks Strike Back

No. 18 Minnesota State completed a late February charge on Saturday night to claim the program's 10th MacNaughton Cup with a 3-0 shutout of Northern Michigan. No. 17 St. Thomas needed a shootout win the finish second, edging out No. 15 Augustana on a tiebreaker, while Bowling Green topped No. 16 Michigan State for the second night in a row to pull into a tie for fourth, but finished as the five-seed on the regulation wins tiebreaker.
