Men's Ice Hockey 3/17/2026 2:00:00 PM Holden and Micheletti Back on Title Game Broadcast The Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) has announced that for the third straight year Ben Holden and Pat Micheletti will provide play-by-play and analyst, respectively, for the Mason Cup Championship Game. In addition, Don Westphal will add ice-level commentary and conduct between period interviews. This year's contest is a rematch of last season's title bout between top-seed Minnesota State and second-seed St. Thomas on Friday night at Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center. Puck drop is slated for 7:07 PM CT, exclusively on Midco Sports Plus. In addition, he has called football and hockey games for ESPNU and CBS College Sports Network as well as World Rugby and Premier Rugby Sevens. Micheletti is a former standout at the University of Minnesota and draft choice of the Minnesota North Stars. He has previously worked as an analyst on Gophers radio broadcasts, as well as the Big Ten Network and Midco Sports. Westphal is the current play-by-play announcer for Minnesota State men's hockey games on Midco Sports Plus and is the former Athletic Director at Bethany Lutheran College.
