The Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) has announced its Players of the Month for February and four student-athletes from four different programs have been recognized. Oliver Peer (Bemidji State) was the Forward of the Month, while Jack Anderson (Michigan Tech) collected his second straight Defenseman of the Month award. Alex Tracy (Minnesota State) was the Goaltender of the Month for the second time this year and Calem Mangone (Lake Superior State) earned Rookie of the Month honors.

CCHA Forward of the Month: Oliver Peer, Jr., Bemidji State

Peer led CCHA skaters with nine points in February, scoring five goals with four assists and finishing at +2, netting two power-play tallies and two game-winners. Powering the Beavers to a 3-2-1 record, he had a hand in nine of the team's 13 goals in the month, while totaling 15 shots on goal and five blocks defensively. His 60.8% face-off percentage was tops in the league among centers with more than 100 draws and he averaged 20:44 minutes per game.Â
CCHA Defenseman of the Month: Jack Anderson, Sr., Michigan Tech (St. Louis, Mo.)Â

Anderson paced conference blueliners with eight points across six games in February, scoring five goals with three assists and finishing the month at +3. Netting two power-play goals and one game-winner, he had 22 shots on goal, while blocking 11 defensively and averaged a nation-leading 26:57 minutes per contest.Â
CCHA Goaltender of the Month: Alex Tracy, Sr., Minnesota State (Chicago, Ill.)Â

Tracy led the nation with a 1.30 goals-against average in February, going 3-1-2 with a .941 save percentage, which was good for fifth nationally. Posting two shutouts, he had 127 total saves across 370:24 minutes. He posted 20+ saves in five of six starts, including a pair of 20-save shutouts against Bemidji State (Feb. 13) and Northern Michigan (Feb. 28) to clinch the program's 10th MacNaughton Cup Championship.
CCHA Rookie of the Month: Calem Mangone, Fr., Lake Superior State (Sault Ste. Marie, Ont.)Â

Mangone recorded six points on three goals and three assists to lead all CCHA rookies in February. Even for the month, he scored two power-play goals and recorded 11 shots with three blocks defensively. In six contests, he average 19:55 minutes and was assessed six penalty minutes. His month was highlighted by back-to-back multi-point games against Northern Michigan on February 20 and 21, scoring two goals with three assists in a sweep of the Wildcats. The big weekend helped the Lakers lock up the Cappo Cup.
