All four top seeds in the 2026 Mason Cup Playoffs came away with wins on Friday night to open up respective 1-0 series leads. No. 1 Minnesota State topped No. 8 Ferris State, 5-1, while No. 3 Augustana defeated No. 6 Bemidji State, 5-2. No. 4 Michigan Tech downed No. 5 Bowling Green, 5-3, and No. 2 St. Thomas clipped No. 7 Lake Superior State, 4-3, in overtime.
