Biography

Freshman (2020-21): Played in six games while starting twice in net for the Lakers… Finished the season with a 2-1-0 record… Posted a 2.27 goals against average and a .906 save percentage… Made his first collegiate appearance in goal on Nov. 29 against Adrian… Recorded his first collegiate win on Dec. 6 against Alabama Huntsville… Made his first career start on Feb. 7 against Northern Michigan… Stopped 77 of the 85 shots he faced… Made a season-high 25 saves in the Lakers game against Minnesota State on Jan. 16.

High School/Juniors: Played two seasons (2018-20) of junior hockey in the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) with the Salmon Arm Silverbacks… Coached by Tyler Shattock… Posted a 18-17-1 record in 37 games played during the 2018-19 season… Played 2217 minutes for Salmon Arm, allowing 121 goals… Recorded 3.27 goals against average and a .906 save percentage during the regular season… Played in five playoff games, posting a 2.08 goals against average and a .938 save percentage… Received the Silverbacks Unsung Hero Award and the Playoff Performer Award in 2018-19… Was tied for first in the Three Star Tracker… Posted a 23-15-3 record in 42 games played during the 2019-20 season…. Personal: Son of Matt and Vanessa Langenegger… Has one brother, Matthew… Born in Lethbridge, Alberta... A 2018 graduate of Valleyview Secondary School in Kamloops, British Columbia… Plays ball hockey as a forward for the Kamloops Blackjacks during the summer and won a provincial silver medal in 2019… Hobbies include playing golf…  Majoring in business-administration/management.
