Biography

As a Maverick:  Four-year letterwinner (2017-18, 2018-19, 2019-20, 2020-21).

2020-21: Tallied 10-11--21 in 25 games played...Tied for the team lead with 10 goals...Led team with 93 shots on goal...Scored twice in season-opening 5-0 win at Bemidji State (Nov. 22)...Scored twice in 5-1 win over Bowling Green (Feb. 6)...Tallied game-winning goal in 5-4 overtime victory at Ferris State Feb. 19)...2020-21 WCHA All-Academic.

2019-20: Had 13-11--24 in 38 games as a junior...Tied for third on the team with career-high 13 goals...Had three power play goals and three game-winning goals...106 shots on goal ranked third on the Mavericks...Had three assists in 3-1 win at Minnesota Duluth Nov. 30...Had a goal and an assist in both games of two wins over Alaska Anchorage March 6-7 in WCHA quarterfinal series...2019-20 WCHA All-Academic.

2018-19: Logged seven goals and nine assists for 16 points and saw action in 40 games..Scored five of his seven tallies on the powerplay...Blocked 16 shots over the course of the season...2018-19 WCHA All-Academic.

2017-18:  Named to 2017-18 WCHA All-Rookie Team...7-19--26 in 31 games played in his first season with Minnesota State...Finished third in WCHA in freshmen scoring with 6-16--22 in 25 league contests...Had a goal and three assists in two wins over Ferris State in earning WCHA Rookie of the Week honors (Feb. 16-17)...Had three assists in 7-0 win at Lake Superior State Dec. 9.

THE LUTZ FILE:  Registered 24 goals and 23 assists for 47 points in 58 games with Chicago (USHL) in 2016-17...Had 7-5--12 in 14 games in helping lead the Steel to the Clark Cup as USHL tournament champions...Won a Robertson Cup in helping Fairbanks capture the North American Hockey League postseason championship in 2015-16...Had 9-3--12 in 12 play-off games for the Ice Dogs and was named Robertson Cup MVP...Accrued 35-25--68 in 25 games at Elk River (Minn.)
