2020-21 (Freshman): Competed in 24 contests for the Wildcats … made his collegiate debut at home against FSU (12/16/21) … recorded seven points off four goals and three assists … led all Wildcat rookies in points and goals … scored his first collegiate point with an assist at BSU (2/12/21), spurring a career-best four game point streak that included a goal and three assists … scored his first career goal against UAH (2/17/21) … net two goals for a career-high night, including the game-winner, to lift his team to best BGSU in a game-three elimination contest.

PREP AND PERSONAL: Spent a year in the BCHL, competing for the Trail Smoke Eaters where he averaged 1.17 points per game, including 27 goals and 41 assists for 68 total points for second on the team ... his 68 points in 58 games was third in the league in points ... prior to his stint in the BCHL, Colella skated for the Omaha Lancers, Tri-City Storm, and Lincoln Stars, all of the USHL, in 2018-19 ... plans to major in communications or sport management.
